Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0 CRD 2011
Arrives in dealerships in the Grand Cherokee diesel. Besides the 3.6 and 5.7 on petrol Pentastar already on the market, there are now variants equipped with the 3.0 CRD diesel (available in two power levels) that lowers the price of access to jeeppone to share 44,500 Euros. The new engine will be available in three trim Laredo, Limited and Overland.

IN NUMBERS
The Jeep Grand Cherokee diesel is equipped with a V6 direct-injection common-rail electronic belonging to the second generation Multijet, which is split into two variants, respectively, 190 and 241 horses. In the most powerful, this diesel develops maximum power at 4,000 rpm and a torque of 550 Nm in the range of 1800-2800 rpm. The consumption data are reported by the House of 8.3 per 100 km, saddled with the same limited variant, that of 190 horses, but peak power is the record at 4,000 rpm, while maximum torque (440 Nm) is made available between 1600-2800 rpm.
PRICES
The transmission is coupled to both a five-speed automatic transmission control system with interactive Electronic Range Select, this technology allows you to select the gears in full automatic mode or sequential manual, simply by moving the lever left or right. Diesel prices ranging from € 44,500 to the Grand Cherokee Laredo (the one from 190 hp) at 60,000 Overland (which comes standard with air suspension Quadra Lift). In between, at an altitude of 51,500 €, is the Grand Cheeroke Limited which, like Overland, mount the most powerful variant of the 3.0 CRD.

Sweet video. I love nothing more than thrashing my Grand Cherokee about off-road. I am excited to see what the 2011 is like..
