The engine of the Mini JCW Coupe is the endurance of 1,598 cm3 four-cylinder direct injection engine with a twin-scroll turbocharger, suitably modified to support 24 hour race. The front-wheel drive is obviously remained, while the change has been replaced by a sequential six-speed gearbox and limited slip differential coupled with a electronically controlled. The independent suspension is adjustable compression and rebound. Even the rear wing can change the inclination. The dry tires are 215/45 R 17 of the slick, wet ones 205/620 R 17.
